1. Actor - Tina D'Elia has been a professional working actor since 1994 when she worked predominantly in theater, solo performance, and performance poetry in Boston, MA until1998 before relocating to San Francisco to further pursue her acting career and obtain an agent and join an acting union. Tina has been working for over a decade in the Bay Area as a professional actor, and is a member of the AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Associations) union and is SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Eligible.
2. Community Talent Agent - As a Community Talent Agent D'Elia promotes, coaches, and helps actors book paid and unpaid acting gigs in the Bay Area in non-union film and video, plays, and stage performance.
3. Creative Consultant/Creative Collaborator - D'Elia has multiple successful collaborations with writers, directors, and performers as a screenwriter, playwright, producer, casting director, and assistant director on stage and film productions, including Forgotten Angel, Groucho: a Day in the D'Elia Soup (her 2 solo shows), Motherlands (a play), Groucho (the movie), and Lucha (a short film). In these roles D'Elia has supported improvising, script work shopping, fundraising, grant writing, the editing process, and media communications.
4. Case Manager & Educator - For over 17 years D'Elia has worked with a range of community organizations providing direct support to survivors of violence and their families as an advocate, counselor, educator, and media spokesperson. She spent 7 years at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, and over 10 years at Community United Against Violence in San Francisco, and has worked with multiple other organizations, including Planned Parenthood and School Street.
5. Emcee/Host - D'Elia is a sought-after emcee and host for personal and community events throughout the Boston Area and San Francisco Bay Area. She has Emceed Pride Festivals in San Francisco and Take Back the Night Marches and Rallies in Massachusetts, in addition to a range of other public gatherings.
6. Officiant - As a registered Reverend with the non-denominational Rose Ministries, D'Elia is available to perform weddings, commitment ceremonies, baptisms, funerals, and any other religious ceremony. Before officiating her first wedding in 2008, she met with the couple, reviewed the location, outline, scripts, and gave a brief sermon before the wedding vows at the actual ceremony. D'Elia has been consistently called upon to write and perform prose and poetry during various wedding ceremonies or receptions over the past decade.
